Applications: EL DORADO 75 is a high noble type III hard cast gold dental casting alloy. It is designed for use in crowns, inlays, M.O.D.'s, veneer crowns, 3/4 crowns and short span bridgework.

Single units - Direct method with 8 ga. sprues and adequate resevoirs.
Multiple Units - Indirect Method with runner bars and 8 ga. sprues.
Investment: Use a low-heat gypsum-based investment following the manufacturer's instructions.
Burnout: After adequate set-up time, place ring(s) in oven at room temperature and raise temperature to 1200F (650C) and hold for 1 hour. Add ten minutes for each additional ring.
Melting and Casting: EL DORADO 75 has a casting temperature of 1885F(1030C). An air/gas torch with multiorifice tip and a white flux are recommended. Clean buttons may be remelted with 50% addition of new alloy. Do not overheat the alloy.
Preparing Framework: Casting may be blasted using aluminum oxide. Pickle with a good pickling acid. Shape, finish and polish.
Soldering:Use 650 solder with a paste flux and an air/gas torch.
