SECTION III: Physical
Data
Appearance: Yellow color, no odor(see "more info")
SECTION IV: Fire and Explosion Data This alloy is fire and explosion resistant.
SECTION V: Reactivity
Alloy is insoluble in water.
Alloy oxidizes
at very high temperature but remains stable.
SECTION VI: Health Hazard
Information
Silver and copper are present in this alloy in small amounts.
High concentrations of silver or copper may cause dermitittis or upper respiratory
tract irritation if worker is exposed to dust or fumes. Exposure to high concentrations
of irridium may produce skin irritation or toxicity when ingested.
FIRST
AID: Skin Contact: Flush skin and scrub with soap and water.
Inhalation: Remove
person to fresh air. Assist breathing with oxygen if necessary. Ingestion: Give
large doses of water to induce vomiting.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with running
water including under eye lids.
SECTION VII: Spill and Leak Procedures
Recover dust by vacuuming or wet sweeping while wearing respirator and protective
clothing. Save for metal value.
SECTION VIII: Special Protection Information
General and local ventilation as well as exhaust should be employed. Respirators,
goggles and gloves should be used.
SECTION IX: Special Precautions
